Mindbridge x CGRE
2026 MindShift Lab Cohort Application
Harnessing Behavioral Science for
Equity, Democracy, and Lasting Change
Applications for the 2026 cohort have been extended!
Mindbridge and CGRE are now accepting applications through Wednesday, February 25th, at 11:59 pm for MindShift’s upcoming six-week learning series. Selected participants will be notified during the week of March 2nd, 2026, and the cohort will begin online sessions on Wednesday, March 11th, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm EST, with weekly sessions held on the same day and time. The final presentation sessions will take place on April 15th + 16th, 2026.
MindShift Lab supports organizations working at the intersection of gender, reproductive equity, and democracy by offering behavioral science tools to strengthen strategy, shift norms, and deepen impact. In Phase 1, participants join a 6-week virtual learning series that combines live sessions and an interactive platform to explore core psychological principles and practical applications. This series equips organizations with tools to refine messaging, programming, and outreach. Upon completion, all organizations may apply to Phase 2. Six organizations from the cohort will be selected to continue to Phase 2, where participants will apply knowledge from Phase 1 and receive research assistance and funding to co-design and test behaviorally informed strategies aligned with their missions.
What You’ll Gain:
Applied insight into behavior: Learn how values, identity, and belief systems shape public response—and how to design messaging that mobilizes communities, increases trust, and reduces resistance.
Science in action: Use neuroscience and psychology to reframe campaign messaging, improve voter engagement, or redesign internal culture initiatives—supported by a structured framework for experimentation.
Collaborative learning: Join a network of organizations advancing gender, reproductive equity, and democracy by applying behavioral science to policy advocacy, narrative change, and community organizing.
Tools for scale: Develop scalable, evidence-informed strategies—for example, reworking a digital organizing campaign or refining volunteer recruitment through psychological insights.
The chance to go further: Six organizations will be selected to have their participants continue in Phase 2 through an RFP process to receive funding and behavioral science research support tailored to their programming goals.
This is your organization’s opportunity to join a vibrant network of human rights defenders applying cutting-edge science to our country’s most pressing issues. Together, we can transform systems, stories, and possibilities, ensuring that equity, dignity, and autonomy remain at the heart of our collective future.
