Our Approach + Methods

Where curiosity meets credibility, that’s where our research begins.

At the Research and Evaluation Department (RED), we apply rigorous, inclusive, and adaptable research methods to help organizations, communities, and policymakers generate meaningful insights and drive impact. See more about our approach and methods below.

  • Survey Design

We develop custom surveys aligned with organizational goals. Our process includes designing inclusive, well-structured questions, developing effective data collection strategies, and delivering insights through user-friendly reports.

  • Program Evaluation

Our evaluations assess program impact and effectiveness using both qualitative and quantitative tools. We offer formative feedback during implementation and summative evaluations at completion, alongside recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Advanced Research Methods

We apply rigorous analytical techniques, such as Structural Equation Modeling, multivariate analysis, and longitudinal designs, to explore complex relationships and drive deeper understanding.

  • Participatory Action Research

We involve community members at every stage- to define the questions and interpret the data. This inclusive approach leads to findings that are more relevant, trusted, and impactful.

  • Data Analysis + Interpretation

Our team integrates qualitative and quantitative data to uncover actionable insights. We go beyond numbers to help understand what the findings truly mean and how to apply them in our ever changing landscape.

  • Training + Capacity Building

In collaboration with the Mindbridge Institute, we offer hands-on workshops and mentorship to strengthen research skills within organizations and communities. Our goal is to build lasting capacity for ethical, effective research.

  • Custom Research Solutions

Every context is unique. We collaborate with partners to design tailored research projects to address urgent needs and provide sustainable evidence-backed responses.

  • Literature Reviews + Meta-Analyses

When capacity is short we provide support to synthesize existing research, drawing connections across studies to highlight key findings, identify gaps, and inform future directions.
