Workshops + Trainings

Learning that transforms- powered by applied brain + behavioral science.

We transform evidence-based psychology and neuroscience into interactive programs that move human rights defenders from awareness to action. Every session is tailored to your mission, connecting the science to your goals and helping your team reach the hearts and minds of your community.

What makes Mindbridge’s training unique?

When traditional approaches fall short of change, people find new energy with us. We offer a different kind of training- grounded in science, guided by humanity, and shaped by lived experience.

  • We translate complex science into clear, practical tools that anyone can use

  • We create safe, engaging environments where people can learn, practice, and grow together

  • We emphasize both personal reflection and collective action to create holistic and lasting change

  • We equip participants with strategies they can immediately apply in real-world contexts

  • We design workshops where lived experience leads, using science to support the path

“The training we did with Mindbridge was game-changing for us. As a communications organization, the concepts were all ones that we knew to some degree; however, the way the trainers presented the information and having the real words and concepts to use in our work fundamentally changed our understanding of our work. From how we message to who we message to, this training was phenomenal!”

Some of What We Offer

All trainings are live. Offered in-person (YES! in-person workshops still exist!) or remotely via Zoom.

We work with groups of up to 30 participants, and can accommodate multiple cohorts per organization.

Each training includes access to slides, learning materials, and a narrative companion guide with expanded explanations, visuals, and citations from the session (because… science).

  • Unpacking the brain’s role in bias, and what we can do about it.

This 2-hour interactive workshop equips teams to recognize and interrupt unconscious bias, improving decisions, evaluations, and organizational culture. Grounded in neuroscience and psychology, participants explore how mental shortcuts form, how they influence perceptions and interactions, and practical strategies to address them in real time.

  • Equipping teams with tools for courageous conversations and resilient collaboration.

Difficult conversations can be the catalyst for growth, rather than damage relationships and team dynamics. This two-part series equips teams and leaders to turn conflict into opportunities for trust, clarity, and lasting culture change. Grounded in psychology and neuroscience, participants gain practical tools to navigate disagreements, strengthen psychological safety, and foster inclusive, resilient teams.

  • Using psychology and neuroscience to connect, persuade, and build meaningful communication strategies.

This four-part series equips teams to design communication that connects and inspires action. Grounded in psychology and neuroscience, participants learn how the brain processes information, why people resist change, and how to craft messages that build empathy, reduce defensiveness, and move people to action. Through hands-on practice and real-world application, teams create messaging that resonates more deeply and advances their mission.

  • Building Individual, Collective, and Organizational Resilience

This 2-part series helps teams manage burnout and the pressures of fast-paced, mission-driven work. Grounded in psychology and neuroscience, participants will explore practical strategies for stress management, collective support, and organizational well-being. Through reflection and interactive exercises, the session strengthens resilience, reinforces purpose, and fosters a culture of sustainability and care.

  • Explore how invisible forces shape organizations—and how counter-narratives rooted in dignity and care can transform culture.

This three-part series explores how systems of power and psychological forces like fear, conformity, and identity threat shape workplace dynamics, leadership, and organizational culture. Participants learn to recognize these dynamics and practice creating counter-narratives that promote dignity, care, and resistance. Grounded in psychology and neuroscience, the series equips teams with practical strategies to interrupt harmful patterns, shift power, and foster inclusive, resilient systems.

What People Are Saying

“The results far surpassed all of our expectations, sparking innovations in our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives, including the development of our internal training on Understanding and Mitigating Implicit Bias, which has been completed by over 60% of EDC’s US-based employees.”

Deirdre Jennings-Holton, Former Director, Global Talent Acquisition

“Backed by solid research across social science, psychology, and even neuroscience, Mindbridge looks at the real reasons people engage in social conflict and works to find actual, actionable solutions...

Simply put, our communities need this work.”
