LEARNING COALITIONS

WHERE INDIVIDUAL LEADERS BECOME A COLLECTIVE FORCE

2026 Cohorts: Gender-Based Violence and Communication Leaders

ABOUT

Mindbridge Learning Coalitions are 6-week training programs for practitioners, researchers, advocates, and leaders working in mission-driven fields. Each coalition brings together a small, curated group of peers to build skills, pressure-test strategies, and strengthen their work together. Every program is grounded in applied psychology and neuroscience, focusing on how people actually process information, form meaning, and decide to act.

WHY THIS APPROACH?

What makes this model distinct is what's underneath it. Applied psychology and neuroscience tell us that people learn better in trusted peer environments, that meaning-making is social, and that behavior change requires more than information. We build every coalition around those truths, where the learning doesn't just happen in the sessions. It happens in relationships, in pressure-testing, and in the shared frameworks that participants carry back into their work and communities.

Gender-Based Violence

Summer 2026

  • July 15th - August 19th, 2026

  • Wednesdays - 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Built for practitioners, advocates, researchers, and human rights defenders working to prevent and respond to gender-based violence in an increasingly complex landscape. As anti-gender rhetoric rises and online targeting intensifies, this coalition applies brain and behavioral science to help participants understand how trauma shapes decision-making, how people engage with difficult narratives, and how to design safer, more effective strategies. Participants deepen practice, strengthen organizational approaches, and build durable cross-sector relationships in a structured peer environment.

Upon registration, you'll receive an invitation to our free live webinar, Brain Science for Advocates: How People Actually Engage with Information — a look into the science and facilitation style that grounds every Mindbridge cohort.

    — Adrienne Kimmell, Spark Solutions

  • "The training we did with Mindbridge was game changing for us. As a communications organization, the concepts were all ones that we knew to some degree, however, the way the trainers presented the information and having the real words and concepts to use in our work fundamentally changed our understanding of our work. From how we message to who we message to, this training was phenomenal!"

    - Participant Feedback

  • “Backed by solid research across social science, psychology, and even neuroscience, Mindbridge looks at the real reasons people engage in social conflict and works to find actual, actionable solutions... Simply put, our communities need this work.”
